Creating Forms and Pop-ups
Overview
Forms and pop-ups are a great way to collect leads, enquiries, and feedback directly from your visitors.
Using Sitejet, you can easily add contact forms, newsletter signups, or promotional pop-ups without needing to write any code.
Accessing Sitejet
- Log in to your Client Area.
- Go to Services → My Services.
- Select your hosting plan.
- Click Login to cPanel.
- Open Sitejet Website Builder.
Adding a Form
- From the left-hand toolbar, click the Elements icon.
- Under the Forms section, drag and drop a Contact Form onto your page.
- Edit the form fields by clicking on them — you can rename or remove fields as needed (for example, add “Company Name” or “Phone Number”).
- In the right-hand sidebar, configure the Submit Action to send responses directly to your chosen email address.
By default, Sitejet sends submissions to the primary contact email associated with your hosting account.
If you’d like submissions sent elsewhere (for example, a team inbox), contact us at
hello@rpvwebsites.co.uk to update your form routing.
Creating a Pop-up
- In the Sitejet editor, open your project and click on the Pop-ups tab in the left menu.
- Click + Add Pop-up and choose a layout (newsletter, promotion, contact form, etc.).
- Customise the design, text, and timing (for example, display on page load, after scroll, or when leaving the site).
- If using a form inside your pop-up, set the same Submit Action to ensure responses are delivered correctly.
Best Practices
- Keep your pop-ups short and relevant — one clear call to action works best.
- Ensure your form has a privacy note if collecting personal details.
- Use your pop-up sparingly to avoid interrupting the user experience.
Support
If your forms aren’t submitting correctly or you’d like us to connect your form to a specific address,
email hello@rpvwebsites.co.uk or open a support ticket in your Client Area.
